![]() In her four years on the Board, Larsen has emphasized transparency between SDHT’s operations and the public, as well as support for the district’s BASIS program (Belonging and Sociocultural Identities in Schools). Kristin Larsen was elected to the School District of Haverford Township (SDHT) Board of School Directors in 2017. ![]() She’s excited to use her extensive experience and training to contribute to the Haverford Township education system. In 2021, LaTonia completed the C2P2 – Competence and Confidence: Partners in Policymaking training program offered by the Temple University on Disabilities. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Law Degree, LaTonia is a highly qualified candidate for the School Board. She’s also an Education Surrogate in Delaware County, supporting students without parents or guardians. In fact, she’s the Co-Chair for the Delaware County Right to Education Task Force, where she helps parents navigate the educational system. LaTonia is passionate about supporting the parents and students of Haverford School District and Delaware County. LaTonia also serves on the Board of the Maurice Rush Foundation, a local non-profit that supports parents of children with Autism. She’s currently working as an HR Director of Employee and Labor Relations in a highly unionized Health Care environment. LaTonia is a proud mother of two and has lived in Haverford Township for 9 years.Īpart from being a devoted mom, LaTonia is also a Special Education Advocate and a Veteran.
